Together Painting Youtubers
Sérgio Astral started teaching art classes for children and young people and with their suggestion the series took shape. “After a few days of class, in which I showed painting techniques and art videos, graffiti artists, designers, sculptures, among others, launched the idea of creating a series of paintings”, he says. According to the artist, he threw the ball to the students and asked them to suggest the theme to be explored. “I asked them to tell me what they were experiencing and they were unanimous in terms of painting the Youtubers”, attests Sérgio Astral.
Exhibition: Jaguar Parade Sao Paulo
In 2019, the streets of the city of São Paulo became a unique habitat, housing around 90 impressive stylized jaguar sculptures. Among this magnificent collection, the feline masterpiece created by renowned artist Sérgio Astral stands out. His jaguar, meticulously conceived with a combination of acrylic paint, spray paint and collages, was a special project that enchanted everyone who saw it in the Masp Park.
