Exhibitions in the galleries of São Paulo Metro
In 2017, I had the opportunity to participate in a collective project that transformed my life and the lives of many children. By volunteering at the NGO J.U.N.T.O.S (Jardim Unidos Num Trabalho de Obras Sociais), located in Parque Savoy City, in the Eastern Zone of São Paulo, I discovered the magic of art and the power to positively impact the lives of the underprivileged.
Initially, I started teaching art classes to the young people at the NGO. It was incredible to see their enthusiasm and passion for art. During this process, the idea of creating a series of paintings portraying the YouTubers they admired and followed on social media emerged. Among those portrayed were names like Kéfera Buchmann, Whindersson Nunes, and Christian Figueiredo. It was a way to merge art with the digital world and explore different styles and topics that these influencers address, such as fashion, makeup, and relationships.
Although I wasn't familiar with the world of YouTubers, I decided to embrace the challenge and immerse myself in this new perspective. With the support and contribution of the students, the series of paintings took shape. Each one brought their own ideas, techniques, and styles to the artworks. It was incredible to witness the collaboration and teamwork that emerged during this creative process.

After the completion of the paintings, the idea of sharing the results with a wider audience emerged. That's when I proposed the realization of an exhibition in the subway stations of São Paulo, highly frequented and visible locations. The idea was enthusiastically accepted, and the exhibition "Juntos Pintando" started to take shape.
For five months, these stations transformed into true art galleries. The paintings came to life, capturing the attention of the passengers who were enchanted by the vibrant colors and carefully portrayed details. It was an exhilarating experience to witness the impact that art can have on people's daily lives, providing a moment of beauty and reflection amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

This exhibition would not have been possible without the collaboration of the students from the J.U.N.T.O.S NGO, who dedicated their time and talent to create these artworks. I am also grateful to the São Paulo Metro for opening their doors to this artistic initiative and for believing in the importance of art as a tool for social transformation.
Although the "Juntos Pintando" exhibition has come to an end, the memories and lessons learned remain alive in our hearts. This project was a testament to the power of art as an instrument of inclusion, expression, and social transformation. Today, as I look back, I feel honored to have been a part of this project and to have shared such special moments with these talented children.

The collaborative effort, dedication, and passion for art showed us that together we can create something truly meaningful. "Juntos Pintando" was much more than an art exhibition. It was an example of unity, overcoming challenges, and valuing art as a form of expression and inclusion.
I came across some media articles that highlighted the "Juntos Pintando" exhibition. Check them out in the links below:

I am delighted to know that the art and the children's work were recognized and appreciated. I continue to support social projects and spread the importance of art in our lives, as I believe it has the power to transform and inspire.
