The 1980s and Resilience: A Rich Pop-Art Context

The contextualization of the 1980s, marked by the AIDS crisis, adds a layer of depth to the exhibition. Basquiat and Warhol didn't just create art; they also responded to the social context of the time, showing how pop-art can be a powerful expression.

Pop-Art Beyond Collaboration: A Tribute to Artistic Diversity

The exhibition is not limited to collaboration; it highlights other notable artists from the 1980s New York scene. Discovering works by Jenny Holzer, Francesco Clemente, Futura 2000, Kenny Scharf, and Keith Haring adds a touch of diversity to the pop-art celebration.
